The high-ranking delegation of the Kingdom of Thailand led by the President of the Constitutional Court of the Kingdom of Thailand Nurak Marpaneet has paid an official visit today to the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The visit has been organized on the initiative of the Constitutional Court of the Kingdom of Thailand within its study visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina on the topic “Rule of Law for Democracy“. In addition to the Constitutional Court of the Kingdom of Thailand, the high-ranking delegation included other high-ranking officials and executives from the Kingdom of Thailand.
The delegation of the Kingdom of Thailand was officially received by the Vice-President of Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina Mirsad Ćeman and his associates (Nataša Vuković, Secretary General, Zvonko Mijan, Registrar and Erda Začiragić, Head of the Office of the President) who introduced the delegation to the history of the constitutional judiciary in Bosnia and Herzegovina and of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina as well as with the work of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
For all the members of the Thailand delegation, the Constitutional Court organized presentation on the topic of the organisation, jurisdiction and work of the Constitutional Court of BiH. Through the presentation, the Constitutional Court of BiH informed the delegation about the relevant case-law of this Court and its effect on improvement of democracy and rule of law in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The presentation was given by the Senior Legal Advisor Sevima Sali- Terzić.
At the end of the visit, the President of the Constitutional Court of the Kingdom of Thailand Nurak Marpaneet thanked for the hospitality extended by the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina and expressed the desire for establishing future bilateral cooperation between the Constitutional Court of the Kingdom of Thailand and Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
