The Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina was visited today by a delegation of the Court of Jurisdictional Disputes of the Republic of Turkey headed by its President, Mr. Hicabi Dursun, who is also a Judge of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Turkey.
The President of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Zlatko M. Knežević and the Vice-President of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mirsad Ćeman together with the associates, Registrar Zvonko Mijan and Head of the President's Office Erda Začiragić received the delegation.
President Kneževic and Vice President Ćeman informed the delegation on the constitutional position, organization, composition and functioning of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, appellate and abstract jurisdiction, as well as on the relevant statistics on the work of the Constitutional Court of BiH. They also discussed the place and role of the Constitutional Court of BiH in the constitutional structure of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the importance of decisions of the Constitutional Court of BiH in the legal system of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The delegations stressed a very successful cooperation between the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Turkey to date. President Dursun briefed President Knežević and Vice President Ćeman on the competencies and functioning of the Court of Jurisdictional Disputes of the Republic of Turkey, as well as on the work of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Turkey.
On behalf of the delegation, President Dursun expressed his gratitude for the reception, exchange of views and information received from President Knežević and Vice President Ćeman during the visit, and wished the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina a successful continuation of its work.
