Upon the invitation of the President of the Federal Constitutional Court of Germany, Prof. Dr. Stephan Harbarth, the President of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ms. Valerija Galić, participated in the Conference entitled “Climate Change as a Challenge for the Constitutional Law and Constitutional Courts” held on 4 and 5 May 2023 in Berlin. At this Conference, President Galić was accompanied by Erda Začiragić, Head of the Office of the President.
The Conference was opened by the President of the Federal Constitutional Court, Prof. Dr. Stephan Harbarth. The key legal issues of the topic of the Conference were discussed during three working sessions.
In the course of the Conference, President Galić met the President and Judges of the Federal Constitutional Court, as well as the Presidents and Judges of other European Constitutional and Supreme Courts who took part in the Conference and exchanged views on the topic of the Conference and also on other current constitutional and legal issues.
President of the Federal Republic of Germany, Dr. Frank Walter Steinmeier, hosted the Reception for the participants of the Conference.
