Upon invitation of the Council of Europe Directorate General Human Rights and Rule of Law, Mirsad Ćeman, the President of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, is attending the Conference „Protection of Human Rights in Montenegro: Application of National Remedies, Judicial and Out-of-Court Mechanisms by the Legal Experts“ which is being held in Podgorica, Montenegro on 28 June 2016.
In addition to the President of the Constitutional Court of BiH, Mirsad ĆEMAN, the participants of the Conference were as follows: Philippe BOILLAT, Director General of the Council of Europe Directorate General Human Rights and Rule of Law, Desanka LOPIČIĆ, President of the Constitutional Court of Montenegro, Šućko BAKOVIĆ, Protector of Human Rights and Freedoms of Montenegro, Zoran PAŽIN, Minister of Justice of Montenegro, H.E. Mitja DROBNIČ, Head of Delegation of the European Union in Montenegro, Ana VILFAN-VOSPERNIK, Case-Law Research Division of the European Court of Human Rights, Furkat TISHAEV, Office of the Human Rights Commissioner of the Council of Europe, Daniel SCHMIDT, Head of Unit - South East Europe and Turkey, Milica VESOVIĆ, Project Coordinator, Human Rights National Implementation Division, Council of Europe, and a number of scientific and legal professionals from the Council of Europe and Montenegro.
President ĆEMAN actively participated in the work of the Conference and on that occasion gave a noted presentation on the topic of the Conference entitled „Concept of National Remedies, Experience of Bosnia and Herzegovina “.
On that occasion, the President ĆEMAN met with colleagues, judges of the constitutional courts, Director General of the Directorate General Human Rights and Rule of Law, as well as with other participants of the Conference with whom he exchanged experiences on the topic of the Conference as well as on other current topics of the constitutional judiciary in the countries of the region.
