The First Deputy High Representative in BiH and Supervisor of Brcko District, Mr. Bruce Berton, together with his associates has paid a visit to the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina today.
President and Vice-President of the Constitutional Court of BiH, Mirsad Ceman and Mato Tadic, with their associates and First Deputy High Representative in BiH and Supervisor of Brcko District, Mr. Berton, used the opportunity to exchange experience on the current cooperation of the Constitutional Court of BiH and the Office of the High Representative.
At the meeting, a particular attention was given to the issue of enforcement of the decisions of the Constitutional Court of BiH, while emphasizing the significance of the enforcement for the consistency of the legal system but also court decisions in general from the aspect of human rights and fundamental freedoms protection.
The First Deputy High Representative Berton expressed support to the work and results of the Constitutional Court emphasizing the significance and role of the Constitutional Court in the legal system of BiH.
On this occasion, President Ceman presented Mr. Berton with the publication “Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina 1964-2014” dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the constitutional justice in BiH.
