Today, the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina has entered into a Memorandum of Cooperation with the Faculty of Law of the University of Zenica.
The Memorandum was signed by the President of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mr. Mato Tadić, and the Dean of the Faculty of Law of the University of Zenica, Prof. Dr. Sc. Larisa Velić, at the seat of the Constitutional Court in Sarajevo.
The conclusion of this Memorandum is a realization of the conclusions adopted at a recently held Fourth Annual Conference of the Judicial Forum for BiH, on the topic “Publicity and Transparency of the Judicial System – European Standards and Practice in BiH“ at which, among other things, an emphasis was placed on the importance of cooperation between judicial institutions and the faculties of law in Bosnia and Herzegovina and beyond.
This Memorandum aims to establish and enhance the cooperation with the Faculty of Law of the University of Zenica in a way as to secure constant exchange of experience and information of technical and scientific nature of mutual benefit for both institutions, as well as to allow the students of the Faculty of Law of the University of Zenica to get familiar in practice with the responsibilities, organization and work of the Constitutional Court of BiH.
