President of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mirsad Ćeman and Vice-President of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Zlatko M. Knežević, attended the Regional Conference “Constitutional Protection of the Electoral Rights” organized by the Constitutional Court of Montenegro in cooperation with the German Foundation of International Legal Cooperation IRZ, held in Budva, Montenegro from 14 to 16 February 2016.
The Regional Conference was attended by the Presidents and Judges of the Constitutional Court, the host of the Conference, by the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Macedonia, Serbia and Slovenia, as well as by a number of scholars and former judges of the Federal Constitutional Court of the Republic of Germany.
President Ceman and Vice-President Knežević actively participated in the work of the Conference. President Ceman also presented the paper on the topic of the Conference entitled “Constitutional Protection of the Electoral Rights – Case-Law of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina”.
At this Congress, President Ćeman and Vice-President Knežević met with colleagues, judges of constitutional and similar courts of other countries and participants of the Congress and exchanged opinions on current topics of constitutional judiciary in the countries of the region.
