President of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mirsad Ceman and Judge of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Valerija Galic, upon invitation of the President of the Court of Jurisdictional Disputes of the Republic of Turkey, attended the International Symposium on the occasion of celebration of the 70th Anniversary of the Court held in Ankara from 12 to 15 June 2015.
The International Symposium was attended by the Presidents and Judges of the European Constitutional Courts as well as the representatives of the Constitutional or other Courts from around the world.
President of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mirsad Ceman addressed the present with the welcoming address. In addition, as a part of the working segment of the Symposium, President Ceman gave a presentation entitled “Resolving Jurisdictional Disputes within the Justice System of Bosnia and Herzegovina”.
The delegation of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina used this opportunity of having participated at the International Symposium for numerous meetings with the judges of the constitutional courts of other countries participants, exchange of opinions on current topics of constitutional judiciary in the countries of the region and especially on the role and significance of constitutional courts in the protection of human rights and fundamental freedoms.
